Integrating Genysis with your Webflow CMS can significantly improve your SEO, seamlessly allowing for the automatic posting of articles. Follow these steps to set up and use the integration:

  1. Create a New Integration:

    1.1 Navigate to the "Integrations" section in the Genysis platform.
    1.2 Select "Add New Integration".
    1.3 Choose "Webflow" as your CMS and give the integration a recognizable name.
  2. Obtain Your API Token:

    2.1 Log in to your Webflow admin account.
    2.2 Select the website you wish to integrate (if you have multiple sites).
    2.3 Click on "Settings".
    2.4 Navigate to "Apps and Integrations".
    2.5 Scroll down to the "API Access" section.
    2.6 Generate a new API token, giving it the same name as the integration in Genysis.
    2.7 Set the permissions to "read and write" where possible, otherwise select "read-only".
    2.8 Copy the generated API token.
  3. Connect Genysis to Webflow:

    3.1 Return to the Genysis platform.
    3.2 Enter the API token and other required information.
    3.3 Click "Connect" to establish the integration.
  4. Define Integration Settings:

    4.1 Choose whether to save articles as drafts or publish them immediately.
    4.2 Select the website and the associated domain.
    4.3 Choose the Webflow collection where the articles will be published (e.g., "Blog Posts").
    4.4 In the HTML field, select "Post Body".
    4.5 For Metadescription, choose "Post Summary".
    4.6 For the Field to use for a Featured Image, select "Main Image".
  5. Approval Process:

    5.1 The integration needs to be approved by the admin, which typically takes no more than 2 minutes.
  6. Publish Articles:

    6.1 Once the integration is approved, go to the "History" section in Genysis.
    6.2 Select the article you wish to publish.
    6.3 Click "Send to Integration" to post the article directly to your Webflow CMS.
  7. View Published Articles:

    7.1 Log in to your Webflow account.
    7.2 Open the website in the admin page.
    7.3 Select "CMS Collections" and then the collection you have chosen in Genysis.
    7.4 Open the article to see that the integration was perfectly done, displaying the article exactly as generated in our software.

By following these steps, you can efficiently integrate Webflow CMS with Genysis, ensuring a smooth and automated publishing workflow.
