Integrating Genysis with your Shopify CMS can significantly streamline your workflow, making it easy to publish articles automatically. Follow these steps to set up and use the integration:
1.1 Navigate to the "Integrations" section in the Genysis platform.Create a New Integration:
1.2 Select "Add New Integration".
1.3 Name your integration.
1.4 Enter your shop name and access token.
2.1 Log in to your Shopify account.Obtain Your Shop Name:
2.2 Go to "Settings" and copy the shop name under your account name as shown in the video.
3.1 Log in to your Shopify account and click on "Settings" on the bottom left of the main page.Generate an Access Token:
3.2 Select "Apps and Sales Channels" and then press "Develop Apps".
3.3 Create a new app by clicking on "Create an App" and give it a name.
3.4 Go to "API Credentials" and select "Configure Admin API Scopes".
3.5 In the filter access scopes bar, type "Blog" and select the relevant options.
3.6 Save your changes.
3.7 Return to "API Credentials" and click "Install App".
3.8 Copy the "Admin API Access Token".
4.1 Return to the Genysis platform.Connect Genysis to Shopify:
4.2 Paste the shop name and access token into the appropriate fields.
4.3 Click "Create" to establish the integration.
5.1 The integration needs to be approved by the admin, which typically takes no more than 2 minutes.Approval Process:
6.1 Once the integration is approved, go to the "History" section in Genysis.Publish Articles:
6.2 Select the article you wish to publish.
6.3 Open the article and click "Send to Integration".
6.4 The article will be published to your Shopify account.
7.5 Log in to your Shopify account.View Published Articles:
7.6 Navigate to "Sales Channel" on the left menu.
7.7 Click on "Online Store" and then "Blog Posts".
7.8 You will find the article you generated earlier in Genysis.
By following these steps, you can efficiently integrate Shopify CMS with Genysis, ensuring a smooth and automated publishing workflow.
